I don't know about you, but I love fascinating people. Chris Anderson is one of them. Anyone born in a remote village of Afghanistan (his father was a missionary and eye surgeon) and makes it to American as the curator of TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) has got a story to tell.
Just in case you are not familiar with the TED conference, it is an annual event where leading thinkers and doers gather for inspiration. Sounds like my kind of place. And from the look of influential people who follow Chris' Twitters (including my bud Rick Warren), it's a veritable who's who of movers and shakers.
The Long Tail |
Anderson's global point of view has been instrumental in advancing the numerous presentations that appear at TED's ultra-distinguished events. His video presentations, otherwise know as "TED Talks," are not only viewed by multiples of millions, they have been translated into many languages numbering into the hundreds.
The attached video, which you are bout to view, is of Chris where he recently spoke at the TED Global event 2010, presenting the concept of Crowd Accelerated Innovation. Fascinating stuff...let me know what you think.
