What is your head-shot communicating about you to the world and your potential clients? It cannot be overemphasized, people do equate the quality and credibility of your craft by the image you present - 90% of which is made at the subconscious level.
Long gone are the days of 'putting your best foot forward' - it's been replaced by putting forward your best 'face.' That is to say, unless you were aware of the message intended with your present head-shot, the odds are it is saying something about your identity other than what you wish. More than likely, it is also doing more harm than good.

Your head-shot portrait is the silent yet ever present ambassador to community and business connections. If you are going to splurge in any area of self promotion, let it begin with the image you present to the world. Not only does a Mark Jordan head-shots stand above the crowd, he is dedicated to detail and invests the time and talent into every aspect of your image.
So then, what makes a HeadShot "stand out from the crowd"? There are actually ten components, but to keep the discussion pertinent and tidy, I have limited a blog post to the Four Key Factors. Should you like to discover more, the following links will take you to my four part series, HeadShots - Stand Out From the Crowd - Four Key Factors:
1. Planning - Consulting
2. Positioning - Composition
3. Painting with Light
4. Expression Expression Expression!
